A system of lightning protection consists of several integral components: the lightning rods, conductor cable and ground rods. Our specialty is major construction projects. We provide design, testing, CAD submittals, UL Master Label Inspections, surge protection surveys and highly trained and certified IBEW labor. Safety is paramount.
A properly installed lightning protection system meets all current codes and standards, including, Underwriters Laboratories, Inc. code 96A, National Fire Protection Association code 780 and Lightning Protection Institute code 175. Northeast Lightning Protection is listed with all the above codes and follows all applicable standards of the lightning protection industry. Lightning protection is a very specific industry, requiring installation specialists such as our highly trained installers who are certified by the Lightning Protection Institute. Thus untrained personnel, such as electricians, roofers and general contractors are not qualified to install lightning protection systems.
